Kielce Trade Mission at EXPO 2010

A delegation of representatives of the central Polish city of Kielce took part in a trade mission in China. On June 2 the delegation promoted the city in Shanghai at a Polish-Chinese seminar entitled "Kielce - a gateway to Europe." The seminar was organised for representatives of key companies in the Kielce region and their potential partners from China. The meeting was attended by the Kielce mayor Wojciech Lubawski, and the Head of the Trade and Investment Promotion Section at the Polish Consulate General in Shanghai Andrzej Pieczonka.

Leading Polish design projects were presented in the Poland Pavilion at Expo 2010 by the Warsaw-based Institute of Industrial Design. Seminars devoted to Polish design attracted numerous Chinese visitors. Chinese firms and institutions are interested in entering in co-operation with Polish designers, the organisers said.
