The board of the Lech Wałęsa Airport in Gdansk have commissioned a consortium of companies Budimex SA (consortium leader) and Doraco Sp. z o.o. to build a new passenger terminal for the city.

A discussion on the general schedule of investments was the main subject of Wednesday's meeting of the representatives of the new Wrocław stadium contractor for the European Football Championships in 2012 - Max Boegl company with the management and engineers of Wrocław 2012.

Warsaw has celebrated the 500th day of construction of its new National Stadium to be ready for Euro 2012.

The General Directorate for National Roads and Motorways (GDDKiA) is planning to announce this year tenders to build 400 km of expressways – declared the spokesperson for GDDKiA, Marcin Hadaj. 1800 kilometers of expressways are to be in operation for EURO 2012.

The Wroclaw 2012 company in south-western Poland has initiated the procedure of handing over the construction site of a stadium developed for the European Football Championship EURO 2012 to a new contractor - German firm Max Boegl.

Thanks to the adjustment of the National Stadium’s construction to winter conditions, the works on the reinforced concrete structure are proceeding. In places where reinforced concrete foundations of the steel structure were prepared, the double wall tents were set up with an aim to enable, along with fuser wands, to retain positive temperature around the foundation.

With regard to numerous contradicting press publications on the progress of construction works on stadia in UEFA EURO 2012™ host cities, which may mislead the public, the PL.2012 company hereby informs on the status of works realised at the facilities in Gdańsk, Poznań, Warsaw and Wrocław.
