Take 6 will perform in St Jacob’s church in the north-western Polish town of Szczecin on November 20, in Komeda Cinema in Ostrów Wielkopolski in mid-wstern Poland (Nov 21) and in the Baltic sea resort of Gdynia (Nov 22).

The "Herbie Hancock Sextet" concerts are scheduled in Katowice on Nov 30, Warsaw on Dec 1 and Poznań on Dec 2 as part of the Year of Climate and Environment Poznań 2008 programme.

The 6th Jazz Autumn in Bielsko-Biała will take place on November 9 thru December 5. The event is headed by Tomasz Stańko the legendary Polish jazzman proclaimed by the American ‘Down Beat’ jazz magazine the “6th trumpet in the world”. The festival is a review of approaches and styles. Music critics say Stańko composes its programme as he composes his pieces – looking for new sounds and not afraid of contrasts.
