Herbie Hancock – the phenomenal jazz pianist and composer known for his collaboration with Miles Davis is to give three concert in Poland. The "Herbie Hancock Sextet" concerts are scheduled in Katowice on Nov 30, Warsaw on Dec 1 and Poznań on Dec 2 as part of the Year of Climate and Environment Poznań 2008 programme. >>

On November 26 and 27 the National Theatre in Warsaw sees a one-act play night, featuring LA FESTA by Spiro Scimone and LES PRẺCIEUSES RIDICULES by Molière – both performances produced by the French Vieux-Colombier Theatre.  >>

The 6th Jazz Autumn in Bielsko-Biała will take place on November 9 thru December 5. The event is headed by Tomasz Stańko the legendary Polish jazzman proclaimed by the American ‘Down Beat’ jazz magazine the “6th trumpet in the world”. The festival is a review of approaches and styles. Music critics say Stańko composes its programme as he composes his pieces – looking for new sounds and not afraid of contrasts.  >>
