“It is a double achievement for us – the opening of another company showroom in Poland together with the most sought after collection of furniture in the most elegant fabrics and leather personally selected by the designer Eva Minge. This collection meets the requirements of our most discerning clients,” Marek Kołakowski, Mebelplast SA president said at the opening of the showroom.

The collection, which is the result of a totally novel cooperative approach in the furniture field, premiered in unusual circumstances. It was presented for the first time during the Paris Haute Couture show in January this year. It formed one of the main features of the décor during the showing of Eva Minge clothing collection.

Both the premiere “Eva Minge for Livingroom” collection and other models from the manufacturer’s “Lounge”, “Residence” and “Country” collections can be purchased at the “Livingroom by Mebelplast” showroom at Blue City shopping centre.

The furniture manufactured by the Mebelplast SA company in Olsztyn is available throughout the world. There are 18 company and 4 partner “Livingroom by Mebelplast” showrooms in Poland. The company also has 29 showrooms within the concept “shop in shop” in Europe. Another showroom was added to the chain in Dubai in early February.
The company was established in 1988. It employs more than 600 people. More than 400 furniture units and more than 1,500 upholstery fabrics and leathers are available in the range. The company’s many awards include Gold Statuette of Leader of Polish Business, Euroleader, twice awarded the title of Exceptional Polish Exporter, Vetrtrauenslieferant – trusted supplier, 2007 Furniture Diamond and 2007 Furniture of the Year.

The collections of Eva Minge, who has been involved in fashion and industrial design since the early 1990’s, are presented at shows in Moscow, Milan, Rome, Paris, Geneva, Montreal, Los Angeles, Vienna and Berlin. Her selection includes sports, classic, cocktail and wedding collections. The designer has three boutiques under her own label in Poland and works with more than a dozen other stores and has representatives in Italy and France. She has received many prizes, including the title “next couture” Alta Moda Alta Roma and a medal from the Mayor of Rome for services to the eternal city.
