This is where it all started. As a student, I lived with my wife in Arka, a hall of residence of Wrocław University of Environmental and Life Sciences, where I met people from the first Polish private TV station, Echo. Soon I became their first employee. We then started broadcasting television programmes from above our room. After that we started independent production work. Since then, the capital city of Lower Silesia has become a strategic place for us. Wrocław is known to viewers from the company’s famous productions, such as the TV series „Pierwsza miłość” (First Love) and the „Bar” reality show. It is on the streets of Wrocław and in the city’s favourite pubs that we shoot popular Polish TV series. Our programmes win very high audience ratings, which in consequence has considerably increases average audience ratings of the channels they are broadcast on. Many of our programmes have become hits and the engines of particular TV stations („First Love”, „The Kiepsk’s Worli”, „Crime Wave”, „Pitbull”).
Wrocław is one of the most modern and most rapidly developing cities in Poland. In the recent years we have completed a number of investments here. These investments have made the city even more appreciated both among Polish and foreign investors. Soon we are opening a second studio in Wrocław – in the suburb of Bielany Wrocławskie, where our company has been based since 2000. This will provide the new technical resources necessary for TV productions. The construction started in February 2007. The investment is scheduled for completion at the beginning of Q2 2008. The complex will consist of more than 7,000 square meters of usable space. In the building we will locate a TV studio of 2,500 square meters, with an option of dividing the studio into two smaller ones, of 1,250 sq m each, with the height of 12 meters. Apart from that, the building will house rooms for actors, technical and office space, a bar and a storeroom.
Our location in Wrocław has many advantages, which we can safely use as a TV production company. The level of specialisation of personnel in our region is extremely high. We work together with hundreds of specialists – mostly with image and sound engineers, executive producers, engineers and technicians familiar with television technologies, and IT specialists.
