The concerts will be followed by movie projections, meetings with writers, art exhibitions and workshops. This year the so called ‘social town’ will be set up in the Kolbiki Park allowing various institutions i.e. cultural non-governmental organizations to present their scope of activities.
Cultural Foundation “Liberty” and club "Ucho" are the organisers of the GLOBALTICA - World Music Festival, which took place for the first time in Gdynia in October 2005. The Festival is a presentation of variety of the world’s music, traditions, cultures and religions. The list of artists who have performed during the previous editions includes names such as Cesaria Evora and Goran Bregovic. “We try to take into consideration both the young and elderly when we establish the events programme to make sure it is suitable for everyone” – the organizers say.
