It will be one of the best European centers for educational technology. Within the five upcoming years a research center will be held in Nowy Sącz, southern Poland, where specialists highly qualified in internet technologies used for distant learning will be hired. EITE will be a typical research and consultancy center in the field of e-learning (learning supported by internet). It will be an active market player in the field of education, technology, related trends and educational policies. 

Within the activity at the educational market, EITE will support utilization of the technology in the teaching process at schools and universities, enterprises and private training centers, and, in the later stage, it will offer its own educational services.

EITE will also develop technologies for building advanced teaching methods supported by modern IT achievements. This field concerns among others: interactive education games, virtual learning environments, mobile teaching systems, assessment and testing systems. It also involves active following and taking part in the development of the new technologies used in teaching, interactive TV and computer animation.

The last area of the new institute activity will be taking part in local, European and international initiatives and policies aiming at benefiting from the development of technology for education and improving employees skills.

MyKnowledgeMap exists since 2000 and from the very beginning it has been actively using modern technologies in teaching. Until now the company’s services have been used not only by educational organizations like the British Council or Leeds University, but also local administration bodies and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
