More than half of those attending the Forum as guests represent the commercial sector: these are representatives of company management boards (presidents, deputy presidents, and board members) as well as marketing managers, company owners and PR staff. The publication particularly valuable for all consists of a solid book with descriptions and addresses of the forum participants. This remains a highly desired print long after the Forum is over.

Exstensive coverage of the Forum is given by the media from more than 160 countries. The Economic Forum in Krynica is a major event in Central and Eastern Europe referred to as the “Davos of the East” and a the place to be seen. During the Forum, the promenade in Krynica has turned into the biggest salon of encounters.

“Krynica is a European voice in the debate on Europe and world affairs. It is an important place on the political and economic map, perhaps the only one where the East and West meet in such a big group. It is here that we make acquaintances, converse, confront views and find partners for cooperation”, says Artur Negri, the press spokesman at the Economic Forum.

Throughout the years, the topics on the agenda of the Economic Forum in Krynica have always dealt with aspects of past and current political, economic and social events and their predictable consequences. Almost all, even the most difficult topics are raised. All participants take the floor and that includes those who voice very critical opinions. The more than 130 sessions of debates cover subjects devoted to power energy, international policy and security, management, European Union and its neighbours as well society, science and culture. The Forum offers and opportunity to examine even the most complex issues.

The Forum in Krynica is accompanied by two events: the 1st Investment Forum in Tarnów and the 2nd Forum of Regions in Muszyna. The subjects discussed in Tarnów cover privatization in Central and Eastern Europe, energy security, the Central-European financial sector as well as the issue of who will build a modern infrastructure essential for the efficient functioning of the economy in the best and fastest way.

The Forum of Regions in Muszyna brings together representatives of local governments from Poland and its neighbouring countries.
