This issue was discussed by experts and entrepreneurs at a meeting held by the Polish Chamber of Commerce (PCC). According to entrepreneurs, too strong Polish currency poses a threat to Polish companies.
REKLAMA
The problem concerns not only exporters but also numerous firms executing EU-funded projects. The PCC believes an in-depth debate on the appreciation of the Polish currency and the means of preventing its negative outcomes is currently much needed. The entrepreneurs associated with the PCC are expecting specific declarations from the government on Poland’s accession to ERM II (European Exchange Rate Mechanism) which should eliminate numerous problems arising from the exchange rates fluctuations. /HK/
