Banking Top Management Forum
The newest legal regulations, the latest trends on the bank loan market and changing demand for financial products are expected to have a major impact on the further development of the financial sector in Poland.
The presidents of the largest banks and financial institutions have scheduled a meeting for September 24 to analyze the consequences of the changes occurring both on the Polish and global markets. The Banking Top Management Forum 2008 – The Meeting of the Elites, will be held in the Courtyard by Marriott Hotel in Warsaw.
The representatives of the key firms and institutions of the Polish financial sector will meet to exchange their experience and discuss the possible threats to the financial market under the Subprime Crisis, credit risk management, financial institutions liquidity and building a strong brand on the investment fund market.
Special guests at the event will include Ludwik Sobolewski, Ph.D., president of the Warsaw Stock Exchange, Jerzy Pruski, CEO, PKO Bank Polski, Katarzyna Zajdel-Kurowska, Undersecretary of State, Ministry of Finance, Maria Dobrowolska, CEO, Chamber of Brokerage Houses and Stephane Hild, General Director, Societe Generale in Poland.
Other topics discussed at the forum will include introducing the Euro, Markets in Financial Instruments Directive and the risks triggered by the US credit crunch.
