Among others, the following bands will give their
performances: Bajm, Lady Pank, Kayah, Doda, Monika Brodka, Wilki, Bracia and Natalia
Kukulska. Monika Richardson and Tomasz Kammel will host the event. Kayah, Rafał Bryndal
and Jan Tomaszewski will act as stage special guests.
The organizers – Bank PKO BP and the STX Jamboree Music Marketing Agency – plan to organize
a one-day Polish pop music festival in London, addressed, first of all, to Poles residing in Great
Britain, but also to the British audience who want to learn about the Polish culture. „We were the first
to set up a branch on the British Isles – we also want to be the first to organize a culture event of
that scale addressed to Poles in Great Britain. The several hundred thousand people, most of who
reside over here just temporarily, are clients or prospective clients of Bank PKO BP. As propagators
of the Polish culture, we also want to promote Polish music, both in Poland and abroad” – says
Bartłomiej Pawlak, Director of Bank PKO BP.
The organizers expect that over the entire day up to twenty thousand people will visit the festival.
PKO BP London Live will be open to public – no tickets are prepared. The concerts will start at
around 12:00, to last till 22:00. „PKO BP London Live is an unprecedented event in the history of
Polish pop music. We have been planning and making preparations for almost 2 years now. Polish
artists have performed in England, and in London itself, on numerous occasions. But it is the first
time that so many polish artists will be shown on a single day in a so famous place, in front of so
numerous audience. On top of that, the entrance to the festival is free of charge” – adds Stanisław
Trzcinski, President of the STX JAMBOREE Agency.
