Polish Football Association: Nothing to fear about Euro 2012
‘Poland has nothing the fear about’ MichaĆ Listkiewicz, President of Polish Football Association, said. ‘The reports we have been filing with the UEFA prove that preparations for Euro 2012 are on the right track.’
Following his last visit to Poland and Ukraine, UEFA president Michel Platini, said that 'there is no back-up plan. We have not had any second thoughts, or other thoughts and we respect our decision to go to Poland and Ukraine’. ‘The final decision whether Poland and Ukraine will host the 2012 European Championship will come in Bordeaux’ he added however.
Another major issue to be discussed is the future format of the UEFA European Championship, currently involving 16 teams, however the board may decide on expanding the number of final-round participants to 24 teams.
