Poland’s main trade partners
Central Statistical Office (GUS): Poland’s trade with Germany, its main trade partner, rose by 2.7% to EUR14.3 billion in exports and by 5.0% to EUR16.0 billion in imports compared to the first half of last year. The balance of trade was negative at EUR-1.7 billion against EUR-1.2 billion a year before. Germany’s share in overall exports dropped from 26.1% in the first half last year to 25.0%. Its share in imports dropped from 24.3% to 23.5%. (...)
After Germany, Poland’s main export partners are France (6.4%), Italy (6.1%), Britain (5.7%), Czech Republic (5.5%), Russia (5.1%), Netherlands (4.0%), Ukraine (3.8%), Sweden (3.3), Hungary (2.8%) while the main import partners are Russia (10.0%), China (7.3%), Italy (6.6%), France (5.0%), Czech Republic (3.7%), Netherlands (3.3%), Britain (2.8%), South Korea (2.4%) and Belgium (2.4%).
