The Institute of Non-ferrous Metals in Gliwice was founded in 1952 as an R&D unit aiding Polish non-ferrous metals industry. The Institute’s broad research work embraces all phases of non-ferrous metal production from ore processing to the advanced technology used to obtain the final product. Many of its solutions are used by small and medium-sized companies in the non-ferrous metal branch as well as other industries.
We offer research and development work on new technology, production process and production line improvement and engineering, as well as measuring and analytical services.
In our work we use advanced technology, modern lab facilities and high-yield piloting systems. Among our clients are known names like KGHM Polish Copper (KGHM Polska Miedź S.A.), the Bolesław Mining and Metallurgy Plant (ZGH Bolesław S.A.), KGHM Ecoren S.A. and many other firms from the non-ferrous metals branch.
Thanks to our longstanding experience and participation in EU Framework Programmes we are able to offer our clients solutions that are both innovative and cheap.
