‘Chain 6’
The 6th edition of Witold Lutosławski Memorial Festival will take place at the Polish Radio Studio in Warsaw on June 3-7. The festival is organized annually by the Witold Lutosławski Society and Polish Radio 2.
Witold Lutosławski (1913-1994) was a leading Polish composer and conductor famous for his original form called ‘the chain’ due to the characteristic interrelation of themes. The festival will be inaugurated with ‘Lutosławski Piano Duo’ concert and the programme will follow with ‘Paganini Variations’. The highlight of the second day of the festival will be the performance by Lukasz Kuropaczewski master of contemporary guitar. The event lasts 5 days.
