Polish cinema posters on show in Warsaw Old Town

Posters for over 100 most famous Polish movies produced over the last century by world-acclaimed directors like Andrzej Wajda and Krzysztof Kieślowski are on display at an outdoor exhibition on Krakowskie Przedmieście Street in Warsaw till July 17.

The exhibition ‘100 years of Polish film. 1980-2008’ was organized by the Polish Film Institute, Museum of Cinematography in Łódź and National Film Library. It tells the history of Polish cinema through posters and not only. There are quotes from movies, press reviews and interviews with the directors in Polish, English and German. The exhibition was already presented in Germany and is going to Czech Republic, Turkey and Bulgaria.
